Race #4 takes place in Point Mugu State Park, but
for this event we start on the northen edge of the park.
The start is in Rancho
Sierra Vista/Satwiwa National Park in Newbury Park
(just west of Thousand Oaks). This event is the Grand Daddy of the series, not for the faint of heart, but if you dare to enter you'll experience some of the most scenic back country in the Santa Monica Mountains. The 6k is a great intro event with paved roads and singletrack along Upper Sycamore Canyon.
All participants get a great (seriously, it's not a plain white one) race t-shirt, cool finisher medal, hot breakfast with all the fixin's, coffee, entry into the raffle of swag, and the satisfaction of completing one of the best races around!

Parking for this event is located OFFSITE at Paraiso Town Center

Newbury Park, California 91320. Participants can park in the main parking lot and on the surround streets near the school (pay attention to local parking restrictions). There will be a free shuttle from the parking lot to the race start.
Remember - Both Race Day Packet Pick Up (#s and shirts) and Race Day Registration will be located offsite at Paraiso Town Center. There is NO PARKING at the race start! Plan for arriving at 6:30am to the new offsite location. Note: The parking lot is located 1.5 miles from the race start (so if you want a warm up run, you can run it)!
