COURSE INFORMATION:
21k – This course has it all. The first couple k are up the 'paved' portion of the Coast Trail road past Fort Cronkhite and Battery Townsley. It's a nice climb up Hil l88 and then a little descent and left turn on the Miwok Trail. You'll take another left at the Marincello that descends into the Tennessee Valley and the first aid station (water, Gatorade). Next up is a right turn onto Fox Trail/Coyote Ridge all the way to the West side of the park - very remote and very beautiful. At this point, the race becomes an awesome single track along the Coastal Trail - with steps, rocks, views, it's absolutely breaktaking along the cliffs. Once you get back into Tennessee Valley, you will hit another aid station (water, Gatorade), and then it's a nice 'climb' back up to Wolf Ridge. Do not underestimate this last climb, it's a fun one. After that, it's a sweet descent back down to the base area, finish line and Breakfast!

All 21k runners are encouraged to carry water bottles along the course! Due to park regulations we GUs and Bars will not be passed out on the course, so if needed, bring your Fuel with you! Be prepared and check out the course maps on www.trailrace.com. The 21k course will be WELL marked with RED ARROWS. But as always, check out the course maps.

7k – This course heads out along the same trails as the 21k and up and over Hill 88! After the top it's a great downhill along Miwok Trail back to the finish! Check out course maps at www.trailrace.com and remember that the 7k follows the BLUE ARROWS!

There are plenty of local accommodations in San Francisco, Marin County and surrounding areas. Check out Trip Advisor.com
