02.04.10 - XTERRA Mission Gorge postponed to March 7, 2010
When it rains, it pours. Over 2" is forecasted for the area, so Mission Trails Park will be closed and the rangers have recommended that we postpone the race to Sunday, March 7, 2010. All registrations will be forwarded to the new date FREE of charge. If you would like to transfer to another race in the SoCal or NorCal Series in 2010, check the INFO page for transfer instructions!
02.03.10 - XTERRA Mission Gorge Update
While we need the rain, couldn't the weather be a little more cooperative and rain on weekends when there isn't an XTERRA? All MG athletes, please check the NEWS section often. The rangers are going to give us the yay or nay by Thursday afternoon. They have a little more leeway than the CA Parks, but if there is significant rain, we may be delayed to March 7. Stay tuned.

01.27.10 - XTERRA Mission Gorge and XTERRA Black Mountain Updates
We're just 10 days away from XTERRA MG and 7 weeks from XTERRA BM. We've got 50 spots left for MG, so don't dilly dally. Also - we've posted aid station cut off times. So check the event pages and maps to be posted. Our intention is to keep everyone on a reasonable pace in the backcountry (so we're all not out there until 5:00pm). :)
01.19.10 - XTERRA Crystal Cove Postponed to Feburary 28, 2010
With the amount of rain heading our way, we are postponing the race to Sunday, February 28, 2010. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but we're at the mercy of the weather. All entries will be forwarded to the new date. If you'd like to transfer to another of the XTERRA SoCal events, you can complete a transfer form from the INFO page.
01.18.10 - XTERRA Crystal Cove Update
Call it curse of Crystal Cove, but it's not looking good right now. Rain is forecast for the entire week. Check the NEWS section for the latest info. If the rain keeps up, the race will be postponed (again).

01.13.10 - XTERRA Point Series Update
2010 kicked off last weekend with 435 runners hailing from 14 states crossing the finish line at Boney Mountain. Leading the pack were Jon Clark and Christina Castelanelli who claimed victories for the men and women in the main, half marathon distance event.

What a great event at Boney - 500 runners, perfect weather, and a new course record! Results are up in the RESULTS section. Points to be posted later this week. Next up is the sold out Crystal Cove on 01.24.10. Morning runners get a plate of eggs and afternoon runners get treated to a BBQ courtesy of Subaru!
