Race #7 takes place at the breathtaking Malibu Creek State Park, located in Malibu/Calabasas, CA. The event field is limited, so enter early! This is the Grand Mama event - the 22k goes up Bulldog (oh so fun), but what follows is some of the most amazing scenery in Malibu. The 6k is a great introductory trail run with single track and fireroad trails.

All participants get a great (seriously, it's not a plain white one) race t-shirt, cool finisher medal, hot breakfast with all the fixin's, coffee, entry into the raffle of swag, and the satisfaction of completing one of the best races around!

Please note that the course closes at 11:30am, so you must finish before then!

You can also register in person at REI on Friday, May 8 from 4:30pm-7pm or on race morning starting @ 6:00am.

We will have an optional packet pick up at REI Santa Monica from 4:30pm-7pm on Friday, May 8, 2009. REI Santa Monica is located at 402 Santa Monica Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90401. Please bring a picture ID and a print out of your registration (if you have it).

This year we are also having a 4k Walk for people who just want to cruise the trails! The 4k Walk is being led by the Salvation Army and is open to everyone. It's a nice stroll out to Century Reservoir and it departs @ 9:00am. We do ask for a small donation that goes directly to the Salvation Army!

We are excited to announce that we are working with The Salvation Army for this year's event! For those of you who don't know, The Salvation Army has an amazing Camp within Malibu Creek State Park (at mile 12.3 on the 22k course), that helps introduce underprivileged children to the outdoors. As the charitable partner of the event, all participants have the opportunity to make a donation benefiting The Salvation Army during registration or using the PDF pledge form.

Know that as the country struggles to find the path towards recovery, The Salvation Army is maintaining its commitment to serving individuals and families on the front lines of this crisis.

The race takes place at Malibu Creek State Park, just south of Mulholland on Las Virgenes Road.

From 101 Fwy: take Las Virgenes Road south and turn right at Malibu Creek State Park, about 0.2 miles south of Mulholland Hwy.

From PCH: take Malibu Canyon Road north for six miles and turn left into Malibu Creek State Park.
